About the Manager
As a new entrepreneur in the contracting industry, Donna Roberts started her career by serving in the US Navy for fives years as a Financial Manager. In that period, she learned much about the financial activities of the military in preparing soldiers for overseas deployment by providing them with the items they need to fulfill their missions.
After her tour of duty ended, she worked in a contractual capacity as a Staff Accountant/Senior Accountant in various roles in Federal Government such as the Department of State, The US Census, The Department of Treasury, and the DEA. In those positions, her professional experience was enhanced by performing accounting activities such as Account Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, Account Payable/Account Receivable activities, General Ledger, and Fixed Asset Accounting.
One of her greatest accomplishments is working as a Senior Consultant for the U.S Navy under the FIAR (Financial Improvement Audit Readiness) to prepare the agency for Independent Audit.
Donna has over 25 years of experience in Accounting/Auditing, Financial Managing, and other aspects of accounting. She also completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, a Master’s in Accounting, a Master’s in Project Management, and a Certificate in Federal Financial Management. She is currently working on becoming a CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager).
